The Clécy Artistic Creation Workshops: a week to nurture your poetic side

From 19 to 24 October 2026, the Ateliers 48 in Clécy are offering a week of artistic creation centred on the theme ‘Whatever happens, let’s remain poets ’. Six disciplines will be explored under the guidance of artists and craftspeople: cyanotype, blacksmithing, Bayeux stitch embroidery, plant weaving, ink and writing, and an introduction to ceramics.

Open to people of all ages, these intergenerational workshops invite young and old alike to experiment with artistic techniques, express their creativity and take home their own creations. The three-hour sessions will take place in small groups, mainly at Ateliers 48, as well as at the Clécy forge and the Kalbass’Art gallery.

The fee is €10 per workshop, with materials provided, plus a €5 membership fee for Ateliers 48. Some workshops incur additional costs. As places are limited, booking is essential.

The finished pieces may then be displayed at an exhibition scheduled for spring 2027 at Ateliers 48 in Clécy.
