Reading of passages from the Iliad in ancient Greek and French with hellenist and musician Emmanuel LASCOUX (The Iliad, Homer, new translation by Emmanuel LASCOUX, P.O.L Fiction 3, 2024)

Emmanuel Lascoux, Hellenist and translator of the Illiad, joins Latin students from Henri Brunet College in Caen for a reading of excerpts from the Illiad in French and Ancient Greek. A journey through this great ancient tale in the language of the Greek aedists!
As part of their work on The Iliad this year with their literature teachers, 6th graders from the Henri Brunet secondary school in Caen had the opportunity to discover the work in class and see an adaptation at the Flers theater on February 24. The students will present their work with Emmanuel Lascoux on a reading of selected pieces in French and ancient Greek.
