The natural belvedere offered by the Roche d'Oëtre, famous for its 'human outline', overlooks the Rouvre Gorges over a distance of more than 100 metres.

A popular site among walking and nature enthusiasts, this chaotic and steep environment, an extension of the Armorican Massif, is home to exceptional examples of fauna and flora such as freshwater pearl mussels, otters and reindeer lichen to name but a few. Nearby, the 'Pavillon de la Roche d'Oëtre' and the 'Maison de la Rivière et du Paysage' visitor centres offer passers-by a warm welcome and useful information. Take the time to discover the area over a coffee at the 'Maison du Paysage'.
