Faites de la Randonnée - Sunday, September 29th 2024 - Thury-Harcourt-Le Hom (place de la gare)

A day of free events to discover different walking and hiking activities, organized by the Comité Départemental de la Randonnée Pédestre du Calvados:
- Guided hikes - 12 and/or 10 kilometers
- Nordic walking: more dynamic than hiking, Nordic walking is based on the principle of accentuating the natural swinging movement of the arms, using two poles. The body is propelled forward.
- Fast Hiking: fast hiking at a sustained pace on a self-guided course with gradients and/or technical difficulties. It is a sportier, more dynamic discipline than classic hiking.
- 4 km family theme trail on the theme of protecting nature
- Demonstration of Bungy Pump: a new activity using a new type of spring-loaded poles, a more invigorating variant of Nordic walking.
