A Romanian-born violinist and classically trained virtuoso, Costel Nitescu made his debut at the age of 16 as first violin in the gypsy section of the Bucharest National Radio Orchestra, collaborating with the likes of Toni Iordache. A master of Eastern European music and gypsy jazz, he plays with deep soul and devastating swing, often compared to his idol Stéphane Grappelli, whose elegance he perpetuates with brio.

A breathtaking tribute to the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli with an Eastern accent, accentuated by the presence of Steven Reinhardt (a member of Django Reinhardt's family) on lead guitar. David Gastine on rhythm guitar and Claudius Dupont on double bass complete the line-up.
