To mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Normandy, Cesny-les-Sources comes alive:
Reading of testimonies with slide show, recording of testimonies on audio headphones, photo exhibition, concert, historical panels, concert.

Throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., exhibition in the village hall of Cesny-Bois-Halbout:
? Wartime or period equipment (helmets, bicycles, uniforms, etc.) by a young local collector
? Copies of documents from the Occupation period and beyond, found in the local archives (applications for safe conduct of refugees, supply cards, etc.)
? Copy of postcards belonging to the village commune before the war.
? Copy of photos of previous commemorations with British and Canadian veterans who liberated our communes, as well as some written testimonies of life during the occupation provided by commune residents.
? Audio recording of a local resident who lived through the occupation, recounting some of the events of his life.
? 3.30 pm: Duo concert "Hélène et Aurélie" Songs from the 40s.
